Finally, it ended. 4 months of marching, getting every of my Saturday burned to prepare for the big show on 9th August. Now i realized what they mean by 台上一分钟，台下十年工。 (what happen on the stage maybe one minutes, but it take ten years to prepare). It may not take us 10 years to prepare all this, but it can be say to be tough to drag your feet to book in at 8am every Saturday morning and booking out as late as 10pm at night, missing out on the gathering with your buddy and getting yourself tired after one day of training under the hot sun, but all in all, its worth it as the parade was a success. After all, finally this parade is the last of 2007 having took part in the SAF day parade too, summing up an eventful 2007. I will miss the gossip session in the waiting area before the parade, the guys who joined in the gossip, the rush to return arm after the parade to book out fast and also the every Monday off! NDP 07: a memorable parade.

I want to thanks Starhub for the broadband services they providing. The best internet connection( the so called 'FAT GREEN PIPE' choked green pipe you mean?) i can ever find, saving my electricity bill by disconnecting my broadband every 10-30 minutes after leaving my ass off my computer seat to get drinks or toilet break. Thanks for the consistent calling me to remind me of outstanding payment for the month every now and then because i regularly feel it hard to part with my money for such poor services monthly.

And also, i want to thanks Starhub for regularly disconnecting my mobile line because of my refusal to pay up for such pathetic service every month. And after which my refusal to pay up the outstanding balance for my mobile, they decided to play some childish punk my disconnecting my residential line because it is also register under Starhub. Thanks for letting me know that a service provider and be so childish at time. Who know after this posting, they might resort to something more gangster like burning down my house or ask people to lock up my gate just because of my refusal to pay up. You should just give yourself a new name: STARFUG for providing such out of the world customer services and product. We might just turn to your enemy for better services soon! (FYI: i find M1 customer service better than what you have provide)

Been a long time since i last did Javducation mostly the reason due to, too tried to even touch the papers to look at news. But nevertheless, i gonna start picking up the papers and start this online education running again.

Once again i learn:

This week i have learned:

1) That falling off from a 3rd floor HDB parapet could land yourself with a broken leg and spine, count yourself lucky not to lose your life.

4) That nowadays the numbers of paedophile in Singapore is increasing, even a 9 years old girl can get pregnant.

5) That i will try to apply for a job at Changi airport when they have install the lastest X-Ray scanner that can see almost everything on the body.

6) That the society is getting more and more messy, 4 days ago, i read about how a 9 years old girl got pregnant. Today i saw an article about brother marrying sister. INCEST you called it.

1) That i have this 'auntie, uncle come buy this shirt, buy this shoe' look. Its not once but FIVE times during different occasion i been asked whether there is a size M for this shirt or is there a different colour for this bag.

2) That its bad enough not to have a date from the opposite sex during valentine day, but it worst enough when you are being scolded a 'pu bor' by your fellow friend when you ask him for a bachelor nights out.

3) That the name 林志源 is a good name to market your bak kwa (barbecued meat).

4) That have u ever wondered why is the chinese name for Darlie toothpaste is 黑人牙膏 when the man on the toothpaste is a white?

6) That wasting time queuing up to buy bak kwa on your birthday can be consider meaningful.

Haven't been doing a decent entry because was too busy enjoying myself going on holiday, meeting up with pals and playing game at home but nevertheless still managed to read up some interesting news.

I have learnt:

1) That it is safer to stand and flim down a stabbing incident than to help or even run away from it.

2) That you can actually fill up your stomach when you are hungry by smelling cat urine. Money saving tatics.

3) That drama such as CSI are encouraging more criminal to commit crime.

4) That there is a man who can survived on half a bottle of BBQ sauce and water for 24 days. Send him for rangers course please, he will survived.

5) That when there is too many teenagers blogging nowadays and you want to start a new trend, you can always resort to pasting your journal entry on a wall and we call it canal blogging. Interesting vocabulary.

6) That there is no much things as you are too short to work, you are only too short to work only when you are choosy about job.

7) That when you were once a popular young popstar earning millions by cutting albums after albums and your popularity drop after you have been caught for the wrong things (e.g. smoking) by the paparrazi and after giving birth, your popularity drop further, you have the tendancy to go out on a street not wearing underwear in order to get your popularity back.

8) That sometime you get more than what you paid for.

9) That when a guy consume pills to solve his manhood problem, he get more than solving his manhood problem such as being blind in a bid to solve his manhood problem.

After 7 days of field camp and being sick for another 3 days after the field camp i have learnt:

1) That i can don't shit for 7 days.

busy week, but nevertheless, still need to fork out some time for entertainment.

Despite a busy week, i learnt:

1) That teachers also can be part time hairstylist when exam is just around the corner.

2) That the so called acceptable hair in school is 'army style' hairdo, then might as well ask the student to 'drop 20' as part of punishment.

3) That its only a normal diarrhoea illness when students in 2 particular schools start falling sick but show different symptoms compare to the students in another 2 schools. I assumed that all of them must have eaten the same food from the same particular food stall before heading for school.

3) That an Lasik surgery package can offer you goody bags, cash vocher and a free 1 night stay in a 5 star hotel but can't offer you perfect eyesight.

4) That applying for an admin job in a MNC might just turn you into a financial adviser for Prudential.

5) That nowadays, even applying for a simple job in a company also need to go for a recruitment camp.

6) That finally, the over-rated footballer in the world, David Beckham have finally lose his appeal as the top modelling icon.

Upon reaching Singapore from Tekong, i thought the Integrated Resort (IR) plan have been bought forward from 2009 to 2006. By 2000 hr, the Pollutant Standard Index (PSI) have hit 150 when i last saw it on tv. I have yet to recover from my cough and i think this haze will be making it worse for me, but nevertheless, i feel that the IRs should have this kind of misty surrounding and environment in the future just like what our neighbouring country have in their Genting Highland.

Been resting at home for the past few days, i have learnt:

1) That when you are down with flu and cough, talking can be considered a task.

2) That student can set up new CCA (e.g. Fight Club) without any teachers or principal acknowledge. Sooner or later, they will start setting up new CCA like Gambling Club in order to cater to student who cannot afford to patron the IR (Integrated Resort)

3) That according to authorities, the school water are not to be blame for the same illness expreienced by the 290 Ang Mo Kio Secondary School's student. I presumed that all 290 students must have taken the same dirty dish together before coming to school.

4) That NTUC will be the next biggest player in the night entertainment business in Singapore. National Trade Union Casinos.

5) That NTUC will monopolise all form of business that you can find in Singapore very soon, be it the IR business, loan shark business ( i mean the money loaning business) , insurance business, supermarket, clubbing and etc. Nightclub and casket business will follow on.

6) That in order to harboured illegal immigrants, we must be a good citizen, winning numerous awards and medals from Singapore Civil Defence Force and all kind of awards you can think of. Best still, be the chairman of the Residents' Committee and no one will suspect that you harboured illegal immigrants.

7) That MOE have learnt their mistake and made a smart move by scrapping the EM3 stream ONLY after 20 odd years in the education business.

8) That in Singapore, if you won a top notch singing competition, you are not guarantee you will be groom because the judge just simply prefer your rival over you.

9) That i still stand by my view that being a teachers is an easy way to get stardom compare to joining Singapore Idol. Every month i will get to read about teachers abusing their authorities on student.

10) That nowadays the way punishment are layout by teachers are more creative than the way they impart knowledge to their students.

11) That we must think of a place filled with pub, prostitution and massage parlour as a culturally vibrant and not sleaze. So red light district is a culture inborned in us?

12) That in Singapore, if you can't find a job, spend time writing books. All kind of books, you can write your own autobiography, write about study mamas, write about sex or just anything you can think of.

13) That 9 years old are being considered too young to sell things like stickers to classmate even though we are encouraged entrepreneurship in Singapore.

14) That despite authorities encouraging us to speak up, giving us the light touch to forum, there will be fewer and fewer place for us to do so because authorities are acquiring up forum such as Hardwarezone Zones as a reason of media business expansion. I think that the next victims for its media business expansion will be Sam Leong's Sammyboy Alfresco Coffee Shop.

Over the past 2 weeks i have learnt:

1) That Uly is all about repeating, they hold delayed telecast, repeat telecast annoucement 3 times a day.

2) That a so called lecture got no lecture notes but tons of jokes.

7)That time = money and therefore money = time, but it does not mean the more time you have the more money you will be able to earn. It just mean the more money you earn, the more free time you have.

8)That after 14 days of confinement, you will find yourself dumb.

9)That the IMF is over and i didn't even get to witness a second of the event. (NB!)

10) That despite practising so hard to smile i never get to use it at all for the IMF.

11) That i will suffer a spilt personality sooner or later because we are not allow to put on a smiley face inside but we are encouraged to smile at foreign talent in Singapore. Headache!

TOO BAD! You're in the army and I'm not, so I can do anything I want! Muahaha!

To those on Jav's side reading this, I have officially taken over (temporarily), and on Jav's behalf, I am supposed to update.

Anyway, Jav SMS-ed me 10 years ago (actually it was only last Tuesday), to write on his blog saying that he had passed his swimming test, and that he had road march tomorrow' Tomorrow meaning last Wednesday.

As you can obviously tell, his road march is well over by now, and yes, he still is alive and kicking. Kicking what thing, I really don't know. Not other people's soap, I hope.

I am doing this upload because just the other day Jav complained that I did not update his blog, so here I decided to take down some evidence that I really am so busy running around outside that I hardly am at home.

So seldom am I home that spiderwebs are REALLY starting to form around my room.

Jav's first miserable day?

Before I began this entry, I have a couple of points to clarify:

1. Jav is indeed on his way to becoming a real man by serving NS in the oh-so-beautiful island where you don't have to bother carrying a pink Identification Card whereever you go.

2. I am not a male, not a gay, not a shemale but a 100% female. So, there will defintely be distinctive differences between my perspectives and Jav's.

3. The most important point that you have to note when reading my posts are, I am entitled to my own perspectives.

4. According to Jav, there is someone else who may blog for him. Therefore, I will identify myself as E.

Earlier on today, I was messgaging Mr. Javier Chia just before he touched down Tekong. It was like any usual messages that we exchanged, like wishing each other well. However, as he was approaching Changi Ferry Terminal, he said, "There's a big open field at Changi Airbase, I want to be here playing soccer." (not exact, but something along the line).

What I am trying to say here is, he could have said, "No more soccer games for two weeks, I am so gonna miss running after balls!". He could at least show a little more remorse rather than happy because he is sad. I just knew it when he messaged me "I suddenly don't feel like going!"

Guys are just guys. *Sighs* Pride! Tsk.

Well anyway, Javier called me too when I was strolling along Orchard at around 10pm. That poor boy got tekan on his very first day.

Sergeant: "Have you try on the trunks?"
Javier: "What for?"
Sergeant: "FASTER go and try it on."

Javier then played hero and ignore his sergeant words. When its time for manual chores or in short, sai gang, his sergeant called, "Where's that guy who didn't try his trunks on?"

Oh, Javier is sad, definitely sad. Because he brought his sueyness to Tekong. Who can be so unlucky to have their cabinet locked. Imagine him watching people unpacking their stuff and laying them nicely in the cabinet, while he can only share half his bed with all his belongings. Maybe Javier should watch out, there might be something in the cabinet, that's why it's locked...

Anyway, that's Javier's day. Awww, what a fantastic way to start his NS life!

Last Javducation before enlisting into army, i have to keep this short because i was too busy to read the news, i just scanned though.

I have learnt:

1) That if you want to be famous, you can join Singapore idol, 绝对 superstar or Star Search. If all these failed, you can be a teacher because nowadays teachers are prone to complain and get on the newspaper headline really fast.

2) That turtle is a way to commerate the death of a crocodile hunter in msn, that's very weird. I got an idea, maybe we should all buy Crocs footwear to wear when going out to commerate.

3) That fairprice is a good name to start a casket business or any kind of business.

4) That even if your business offer reasonable charges, no overtime charge and professional services, you cannot name your business Fairprice because it's owned by NTUC.

7) That its 4 days away from IMF, learnt how to smile already?

8) That during the period between 10-20 sept, old man who are used to going Batam for some 'recreational' purposes may find themselves appearing on international tv channel like CNN or they might just find themselves getting their ass jabbed by IMF protester in Batam.

9) That the filling in the 大碰饼 that i like to eat since i was ten is lotus paste not malt, all along i thought is malt till someone told me is lotus paste.

Ever travelled to 5 places in a day and having your meal with 3 different set of friends and colleagues? i tried that today, damn chaotic. Sometime, despite a very busy day travelling here and there, a simple sms asking 'how are you doing lately?' or 'how's your day?' just simply bring smile to my face. Just received one such sms yesterday from my secondary school form teachers Madam Lydia after i sent her a happy teachers' day sms. She's a great teacher, someone who made an impact in my studies between making the grade for poly or dropping out of school. A great influence in my life.

Respect! Lastly to Madam Lydia, thanks for the effort you put in me or at least the class of us during the last two years of my secondary school life. Happy belated Teachers' day!

Recently got back my drama form, now i know why i am more interested in HongKong TVB drama than local production. Ever since i watched the first episode of this drama, i can say, i am addicted to watching this show. The ending of each episode will always ensure that you will be dying to catch the next episode without fail. Good storyline, good plot and the forsenic term that the cast are using will leave you thinking whether are they forsenic doctor in real life.

Despite a hetic week, i still learnt:

1) That in UK, women are desperated to lose their virginity that they decided to auction it on e-bay when they still have their viriginity by the age of 30. But in Singapore, majority of the girls are losing it at a cost of $0.

2) That nowadays you do not need to step out of your house to top up your ez-link card. You can just buy a reader to top it up online when you are at home. Soon i will be able to order chicken rice from my favourite stall online using credit card.

3) That every three days there will be an escalators accident. Maybe instead of Lift Upgrading Programme (LUP), we should have Escalators Upgrading Programme (EUP) for our next election. We get to vote for which shopping centre should get the upgrading of escalators.

4) That Creative should not be continuing their MP3 player business, they should just go around sueing companies who use their design and earn money from there. Last week won Apple, this week don't know sueing which mobile phone company for using their design.

Creative Technology may take legal action against some mobile phone makers which have allegedly infringed its patented Zen technology.

This comes barely a week after Apple settled out of court its differences with Creative over the same patent.

Okie, i am super duper tired after a day of soccer and movie, but i just want to say that today i got a once in a lifetime chance because i saw Felicia Chin at Eunos MRT Station as she was filming there. Call me a snob or something because thoughout the whole 10 minutes of standing there and watching her, i totally forget to take out my phone to at least take a photo of her. Guess i was too memerized by her beauty, her eyes can talk i swear. Godly beauty or at least one of the most best beauties i come across so far to me.

Was watching 我猜 last night before turning in. There was this hot babe in their show that left most of the guys in Eat Drink Man Women (EDMW) discussing and drooling over her. Some of the pipples in the forum even found her blog. I can only say she is drop dead gorgeous, and she have the criteria that most guys need to make her your dream girlfriend. PES - Pre-Enlistment Sydrome

No matter how prepared you are mentally and physically you are for enlistment to National Service (NS), when you happen to come across your enlistment letter, you will let out a huge sigh. Afterwhich, you will start to develop PES (Pre-Enlistment Sydrome) not Pro Evolution Soccer to game addicts.

Symptom that one have developed PES:

1) Always feel that there is alot of things to do.
2) Always feel that there is not enough time.
3) Feel that there is still alot of places you haven't been to
4) Feel that there is alot of friends and working colleague that you haven't meet before enlisting.
5) Always feeling very sian

7) That government are replying at our comment made on the mainstream media and we are entitled to reply back but newspaper won't published it.

8) That bah chor mee and mee siam will be the next tools for election 5 years later. We will get to vote for bah chor mee don't wan tur kwa or mee siam don't want hum

9) If Thailands are called the land of thousands smile, we can call ourselves the land of 4 millions smile.

10) That we are going to be a fully plastic country in the future because even foodcourt (e.g. Kopitiam) are going cashless. We are only allowed to use the cashcard they issued and no cash is allowed.

11) That i will have to pay 5 dollars to purchase a dumb plastic card even if i were to purchase ONLY a drink. I seldom dine at foodcourt because the food is bad and cost twice as much ($4 for a bowl of bah chor mee worth it?).

12) That toilet auntie collecting 10 cents/toilet visit will be out of job soon. We will be scanning our cashcard when going into the toilet, 10 cents dedcuted. Deduct another 10 cents from cashcard to use the tap to wash hand. Another 10 cents deducted to use the hand dryer.

13) That sooner or later, the only card we will be bringing out will be our Identification Card (IC) it will be an all in one card, CashCard, Ez-link, IC,credit card, debit card,phonecard. You want it to be what kind of card they will be what kind of card.

14) That 13 is an unlucky number.

A trip to Republic Polytechnic

My 1st ever trip to Republic Polytechnic (RP), unlike TP (Temasek Polytechnic), it is not overcrowded during break time at all. Maybe the student studying in there wasn't as much as TP. The library (4 storey) is a place of contradiction, i saw a sign which said, 'no food and drinks allowed' and there is a cafe on the 4th level of the library with pool table. Was searching for the sports complex when I came across this picture. A foreign worker standing on top of the water, its a competition pool (2 meters of depth at least) by the way. At 1st look you will be amazed, but when you look long enough, when I mentioned long enough, it around 3 minutes, you will spot a ladder below him.

Call me snobbish or what but this is something i won't find in TP i not sure if other polytechnics have this. Its a state of the arts escalators! TP should have this long ago to benefits lazy bum like me. More people will not be late for lecture and tutorial because of wasting time waiting for lifts and squeezing into the lifts.

Was on my way down to the provision shop to help mum collect her newspaper when i saw this. Decided to take out my handphone and take a picture of it. Just love the scene of red sky don't know why. Today i have learnt:

1) That never to use your newspaper to help you reserved a place in the canteen while you are away buying your food. The seat will not be taken up but the newspaper will be taken by some bugger who passed by your seat. (curse him)

4) That when you publish a public apology on the newspaper because you punched a local MP, you must include 'THANK YOU' inside. For what kind of reason, i don't know. Maybe 'thanks for letting me punch you Mr MP.'? Think i better stop this before i am labelled a paristan player in politics.

5) That foreigner in Singapore can get license to do protest during IMF while Singaporean in Singapore will most probably only be able to get license to hang their plant outside their windows.

If local public transport companies are to increase the fares in the near future, they better think of a good way to put the excess into good use. Part of the money should be used to zhnging their assets: the vehicles that they owned. When i mention the word zhng, i don't mean putting side skirt, uber big bumper, neon headlight, Mugen stickers and LED run light all over the bus (looking like a chao Ah Beng's WRX or christmas tree). What they need to zhng, is to design a proper drainage system in the bus for the rainy day.

Damn the bus ride for making my sneakers wet, lucky my hp didn't drop into the puddles of filthy water.

Today i have learnt that:

1) All kind of show/drama be it English or Mandarin will always have the same kind of ending. They will end it like the way we end our primary/secondary composition, 'and I wake up it was just a dream' or 'and they live happily ever after'.

2) In the olden days before the term blogging was used, people write down their day to day event on the wall of an abandoned house hoping that strangers will discovered it by chances.

3) Maybe the vandal responsible for the vandalism in the Tampines multi-storey carpark is trying to blog down his day to day events on the carpark after knowing that people in the olden days record it down on the wall.

4) Apple Hong just released her new album not long ago, hope that her album will not end up like Slyvester Sim's album, left on an isolated corner in Carrefour selling for $2 per album.

5) There is a new part time job I can consider after retirement apart from being a taxi driver and ice-cream vendor on motorbike, I can be a trolley retrievers.

6) I have thought of the slogan to my new after-retirement-part-time job. It will be, ' one dollar, one dollar Uncle, Auntie 我帮你推 trolley, one dollar, one dollar' Hope this slogan will attract more people to let me have their trolley after shopping.

7) Nowadays in schools, CIP points can be exchange for twenty dollars. Maybe we should encourage student to do life-threatening stunt like eating fire, walking on tight rope or throw them into a sea of sharks in order to exchange for CIP points.

I got pulled out and got a good talking to that there is a minimum requirement of $20 to get my CIP hours credited to me, to prevent some students from slacking etc. Yeah right, this is where the problems start coming in. How can you judge that a student has put in "enough work" ? 8) People from China prefer to commit crime in Hong Kong than China. They will swim across the sea risking their arse getting bite from the sharks just to come to Hong Kong to commit crimes because they are paid better in Hong Kong jail than working in China. Best of all, they are guaranteed a better future back in their homeland after they are released from jail as they will be taught English during their jail-term in Hong Kong Prison. Not a bad reason to go jail after all, at least you are guaranteed a better future.

9) A taxi driver claimed that price hike is rightful because taxi driver deserve some pay rise after all. Kiss my ares?! Only you deserved a pay rise we don't deserve?

10) Avoid driving to Suntec next month if not you will have to keep smiling while on the wheel.

Today i have learnt that:

1) We are actually paying tv license to watch our favourite/beautiful actress being smooch. In another words, we are actually paying to make ourselves jealous and deflating our egos. The actor in that channel 8 9 pm drama is really a lucky bastard as i remember he is paid to kiss an actress in Minute Maid advertisement. (pissed)

2) If your other half actually caught you flirting with someone, you can get away with reason like the girl you are flirting with is actually your long lost primary school friend or you can tell your other half that your friend is in trouble and you must offer your help. But never reveal the gender of your friend.

3) I still think that $2000 is too much for a woman to get the figure she always want after giving birth.

4) I can spend money buying book.

5) Authority are spending money engaging overseas talents to design and build a park connector connecting Mount Faber, Telok Blangah Hill and Kent Ridge when a Phua Chu Khua kind of contractor can do the same job. If they are doing all these to attract people to these places, building shopping malls and IRs there will do the job for them.

6) After so many years, the courtesy campaign seem to fail. The reason lies with its icon, Singa the lion. You call this courteous when you are smiling without wearing any bottom (see picture below). The courtesy campaign have thus been replaced by the 4 millions of smile campaign for the IMF meeting.

How can you attract visitors when you are smiling without wearing any pants?

Can't believe what i bought on my trip to town, i think not even reader of this blog will believe it. Yes i bought a book, an English novel entitled Train Man. Caught the drama and movie of it, this book certainly didn't escape from my pair of eyes during my trip to Kinokuniya. Read a few pages of it during my way home, despite that i have already caught the drama and movie, i still find it interesting. Will be getting one or two more books to prepare for my enlistment next month.

Activated my site feeds subscribed to Feedsburner for quite sometime already. I went around asking pipples how do they get update on my blog? This is one of the most common replies i get so far, ' eh i just click on your website in my internet browser to view lor' and when all they clean up their history, my website get erased again and they start asking for my web address again. Firstly, i am not sure if this work for Internet Explorer because i have not been using that browser for 3 years ever since i found Firefox(integrated pop up stopper to prevent adware and spyware and several embedded functions to benefits user). For those with , when coming into my website, on the bottom right hand corner of your browser you will find a small feeds iconclick on it and they will ask you to subscribe to my blog via xml or RSS 2.0; click on either one and a bookmark will pop up. Click 'Ok' to save the bookmark and my webpage will be save into ur bookmark. Its a 'live' bookmark, meaning that whenever u highlight my webpage in your bookmark, when there's an update on my blog, new entry will be added into the sub-tab in the bookmark. It works with all website wich have feeds subscribed in it. Its simple and its free, no extra subscription charges!

This is also one of the reasons why i chose Firefox over IE, it have an emebedded RSS feeds functions integrated inside to allow me to subscribe to websites that have feeds in them so that i do not need to keep on clicking (will spoilt my mouse easily one leh!) to the same website to check for update. Today i have learnt that:

1) It is alright to propose and kiss your girlfriend wearing your military uniform infront of national television. All along, i thought NSF were taught not to show PDA (Public Display of Affectionate) when they were recruits. But, for sure he won't be charged because its National Day and he can argue that he was heeding the government advise to get marry young and have more babies.

2) Singapore mandarin drama always have this coincidental plot. Your uncle is my colleague at work and your brother always play football with me on weekend and now you are my property agent. If not, then the plot will be, your friend happened to be a chick i picked up during one of my many visits in pub and i almost bedded her, if i don't bed her, i will bed you. This is the kind of plot in Made-in-Singapore drama. No wonder i watch more HK TVBI drama than local production.

3) With a ten years-guarantee-we-won't-change-our-damn-plot in local drama, i am not surprise that nowadays local production are filled with young stars-wannabe who can't act or having actor who talk like he have two golf-balls in his mouth. When all fail, throw the actress into the pool, make her wearing constrasting undies and shirt. In another words, sex sells when all fail.

4) Less and less taxi on the road ? Taxi driver can't earn enough because lesser people taking taxi due to price hike and therefore they quit?

5) Taxi companies are suggesting to Land Transport Authority (LTA) to allow foreigners to be taxi driver. I wonder will i ever get to the place i want to go if an eng mo taxi driver was to service me.

6) Singapore Idol is trying its very best to kill both of my ears everyweek, and with the new season of 绝对 Super Star, i am seriously thinking how my ears will survive all this in the long run.

National Day Special

Got this article while reading tomorrow.sg, i guessed the author of the blog chose a write time to release this article about his interview with David Marshell, in case teenagers or pipples of my age who did not study Singapore History during their 10 years of compulsory education and don't know who is David Marshell (shame on those who didn't have any idea who is David Marshell), click on the link on his name to know more about this local opposition politician.

The promise was to publish in full an interview, which I had with him on 5 May 1994 at the offices of Singapore law firm, Drew & Napier. caught Tokyo Drift on Sat with my poly friends, not much of a storyline but its still a great show for me because the chicks and the cars inside were great stuff. The US version of Initial D and that very little bit of Pimp My Ride or what mrbrownshow would called it, Zhng My Car.

Watched Click with one of my secondary school classmate this afternoon after training, its a hilarious movie with a bit of touching scene in between as i caught my secondary school classmate crying and keep on saying that scene was touching. Well, yes, it was touching, but i somehow managed to surpress it.

Overall, a money spending weekend and exactly 1 month to my enlistment!

*PS* Why today Mcdonald got no Big Mac when i craved for it? Mcdonald Beef-Free day? damn it.

Today i have learnt that:

1) Ah Beng drugs peddler will have to look for jobs elsewhere because not only doctor are selling drugs in their clinic, drugs are sold in kopitiam and HDB flats using the 7-11 style, 24/7 running to provide services to the addicts. Maybe those Ah Beng drugs peddler should concentrate more on giving commited services to their 'OEM' DVDs business.

2) Not all student will work hard just by reading harshly-worded letters and before the principal start writing the letter, ensure that she is ISO-9001 eng mo certified free of grammer mistake. Gov is encouraging the Speak Good English campaign and the head of the school is not giving a good example by issuing letter with full of grammatical mistake.

3) We cannot write and publish government issues (be it on a light or heavy touch) on the mainstream media such as the newspaper, but we can do a play on it and the authority won't ask a question about it. Not even when you name your play after a local opposition politician.

4) Its not worth breaking into a house and risk getting your ass jabbed by the window grille, chased by resident and in the end falling down breaking your head and getting arrested just for a miserable $2.

5) Singapore Changi Airport Terminal is highly prone to terrorist attack because in a drama i just watched on Channel 8, a girl managed to go into the airport control station and use the PA (Public Announcement) system to call for her boyfriend. If a girl can just go into a control station i don't see why terrorist can't invade the airport with ease.

1) Singapore is generally a happy place to live in because not only majority of Singaporean are happy, survey have shown that majority of maid are happy too. Maybe they are happy because their employer give them weekend off to go Golden Mile Complex to hang around and get a boyfriend. But don't get pregnant, pregnant maid is not a happy maid.

Terribly sick

Terribly sick for the past 1 week, flu bug just come and go. Working and training as normal despite of the flu. The 1st thing you do when reached home is not thinking about what time dinner will be ready but to sleep. Drowned myself heavily with all kind of medicine and yet nothing seem to work. Think the Coke tha i drink everyday and the irregular sleeping hour i'm getting for the past week should be the reason for this flu bug. Better stop here because as i am typing this away, the mucus just keep on dripping. Gross! Better entry the next time.

Yesterday posted English lesson clip, today shall give Maths lesson to complete the week. At first, i thought this was correct as he did according to what the instructions say. But after looking at it the 2nd time, i realise, this is a Mathematics question. I started wondering, either student nowadays are not clever enough to answer this question or they are just too clever to be answering this kind of question, so they try something else instead. I don't think i see this kind of answer during my time. I recalled the most creative answer i ever give during a Mathematics test is when they ask for a decision tree and i drew out a big tree accompanied by a big question mark.

Was watching the encore of the Miss Universe the night before, i really can spot the big difference between our Miss Singapore and Miss Japan, one SPG (Saraong Party Girl) style while the other is truly a elegant beauty. I think Miss Singapore Universe must have offended the backstage crew if not i don't think they will give her such ugly dressing to wear for the nightgown section. Nevertheless, i think this Miss Singapore is the one who truly stand out from the others Miss Singapore in the past years due to her assets i guess. My friend was watching the Miss Singapore pageant couple of months ago and i remember him commenting on this, ' wow, look at that pair of bikini, its holding for its dear life!' I still prefer Jade Seah though i must say Carol Cheong have really good assets on her body.

Price hike for better public transports services? 1st class services? More good years ahead and the train just break out. I suggest that all the road and expressway open up a new lane specially for bicycle just like those bus lane. One day that bicycle lane will come into use when commuters who have been fans of the public transport get frustrated with price hike and frequent breakdown. Don't forget to insert dynamo engine to your 2 wheelers in order to travel faster on the expressway.

To: Whoever is reading this letter at Starhub HQ at Cuppage road ( I can't be bothered!!)

I want to thanks Starhub for giving me wonderful internet connection/services for the past few months. Sleepless nights due to fixing the modem with old memories of using the 56kps modem come alive whenever i switch on my computer just that i don't get to hear the du du du du du dialing sound anymore. My BT rate can no longer peak above 20kb/s during normal daytime. For once i realise that i need to bring my modem to see a physiatrist because i thought it have a split personality issue, day time: 56kps (<10kb/s)

Using your internet services bring back old memories whenever i get disconnected frequently while chatting away in MSN. Just like how last time we use our dial-up 56kps modem to chat in IRC (those were the days where despo go to #teens looking for fling and now we have Friendster to replace that) and get disconnected (!ping timeout) as much as 6 times in an hour. I appreciate your kind service of providing this kind of retrospective atomsphere whenever i am using the net, but i wish to terminate this service at a cost of $0. Spending $59 a month getting this kind of services and connection speed is definitely not a laughing matter.

Speaking of services, your customer service is also very 'good' , i upped for you. A call to the customer service hotline (1633) asking why is my connection so unstable, they referred my call to the technical assistance after waiting for 20 minutes listening to that ear drum brusting song. Never mind about the 20 minutes of wait, after telling you all my problems, the technical assistance come to a conclusion that my PC is the answer to my question. WHAT?! i called to ask you solve my problem, you push the ball back at me asking me to solve my PC problem and not your modem problem, bloody hell! It's like going to a electrical appliance shop with your spoilt appliance and after you tell the repairman what went wrong he give you this reply, ' No la, not the thing spoilt, its your house electric socket spoilt wat, cannot liddat blame us.' NB! PUI! For this knid of service don't really deserve me to pay you this kind of money every month. 1st class customer service? PUI!

Lastly, Starhub should be renamed as Starfug! for your so called 1st class service. Anyway, i think you should start watching your back because i heard that more and better ISP ( Internet Service Provider) like Qala is coming out. Enjoy your day with Starfug!

Singaporeans generally may say they speak English but a survey shows that 6 in 10 of them actually speak non-standard English in their daily lives.

The study by the Singapore Polytechnic involved some 3,000 English-speaking Singaporeans.

So this year's Speak Good English Movement hopes more Singaporeans make it a habit to speak standard English.

Six new organisations, including the Education Ministry and the Singapore Retailers Association, have also joined in to support the Movement.

Students will be roped in to help highlight the importance of communicating in good English.

Ashraff Abdul Samad, Student, Ang Mo Kio Secondary School, said: "Now I would say "How are you doing? Is everything great?" instead of "What's up la? Relax la" that kind of stuff. It's not difficult. When you speak standard English, you need to watch your grammar, there will be no Singlish 'la'."

And that is exactly what the movement hopes to encourage in all Singaporeans, especially the students.

Another move by authority to promote the employing of native speaker of English Language to teach us how to speak proper English? Singaporean are too ashamed of the Singlish that they have been using since young? I for once are proud of using Singlish as this special language help me to identify myself as an uniquely Singaporean. I enjoy using the 'la' , 'lor', 'hor' in my conversation. It identified myself away from people of different nationality. I once heard from my friend saying this, "Its easy to spot a Singaporean when you are in a foreign country. They will always be the centre of attractions with their uniquely Singapore phrase like ' dun liddat la' , 'can cheaper anot?' " Especially when you are in a foreign country, its always nice to spot people who come from the same country as you. Yes! I agreed that Singaporean can't speak good English but i feel that we do not need to speak such good English to each other in our daily conversation, it will make us feel retard as we will take a longer time than usual to speak proper English during conversation. It also destroys the meaning of our daily ranting and talking cock session among our peers.

Try replacing all the Ls' with the Rs' in your daily conversation with your friends and not forgetting minus all the 'la', 'leh' , 'lor' if you want to speak like a native speakers of English language. I have a friend who went overseas to study and after 3 months in the States, he came back to Singapore speaking to us with his heavy accent of eng mo and replacing all the Ls' with Rs' in his conversation. We were convinced that Rs are his best friends. Student should be taught the proper way of speaking proper English but they should also be taught on what occasion they should best use proper English ( of course not during daily ranting with your peer la!). Singaporean children nowadays Mandarin let alone asking them to speak their own dialect. They have forgotten their own roots. I know how to speak Hokkien when i was four years old and i find it useful as i need it when at work, it will be even better if i know how to speak Cantonese. Try asking my friend who know me, they are surprised and got no idea that i actually can write such English because i seldom converse with them in English ( well you guys can try to converse with me in English, i don't mind at all). Majority of Singaporean have to agree with me that Singaporean can write English better than they speak. Singlish should be a proud language used in Singapore just like those singer in U.S who are into hip hop, with their 'hey yo, wattsup', 'how about that for ya?', 'hot chicks'. Imagine hip hop/ rap singer in U.S wearing their oversized jeans and T- Shirts singing their so called hip hop/ rap in MTV with perfect English. That scene would be hilarious.

Singlish is a good way of saving entry space especially in sms, 'can you please stop that?' becoming 'dun liddat la can?' , 'can i have a better price for this?' becoming 'can cheaper anot?' Any student who have studied economics will tell you that Singaporean are better in the economics of words.

Last but not least , i do not want to go into bed tonight dreaming of me carrying a dictionary around the house because my children and grandchildren are talking to me with perfect English and using bombastic vocabulary. Neither would i want them to talk to me in those 'yo-yo' hip hop language in our daily conversation. Just Singlish will do. Dun liddat la can?

*PS: Despite government campaign to speak good English, i still enjoy speaking Mandarin and swearing in Hokkein because i am a true Singaporean Chinese, so say we all! So say we all!*

Just found out from a friend of mine that today is the World Jump Day. Didn't know what is it about so my friend went to find out more about it. So for those who have read it, Singaporean please jump @ 1839 and for foreign reader, please check your timezone. Save the earth! Jump around! I kind of having this mental picture of everyone behaving like African caveman jumping around in circles. haha. Maybe they should shoot a movie to promote this before it launched. Title of the movie: I not jumping enough, jumping not enough, if it hit the box office, they still can make I not jumping enough 2. Okie students who like to post their video up in youtube, now that i have give you some ideas of how to be famous, go and help do your part for charity.

Authority say must provide solution

In respond to the entry Price is rocketing high into the sky!!! that i have made on Sat, July 2006, i have decided to provide solutions to the price hike (MICA say we should provide alternative policy to issue that we have brought up in order not to be irresponsible Singaporean, its like going to the technican with your spoilt electrical applicances and telling them your problem and provide your solution to fix the applicances to the technician). After thinking for several hours, i have finally think of solutions based on the fastfood resturants in Singapore:

1) Present your student pass to prove that you are not entitled to the Progress Package in order to enjoy lower price off consumer products. Just like showing your bus pass when you want to order student meal at any Mcdonald resturant.
2) Set up membership and issue member card to Singaporean who sign up for the 'Singapore Bao Ka Liao Transportation' member card aka the BKL Transport Card. Singaporean enjoy stuffing that thin plastic in their wallet and this may work.
2) Transport company in Singapore like SMRT, SBS, TIBS and various taxi company should offer bonus points with the BKL Transport Card if they want to encourage people to take public transport and increasing the fare. Taxi company should be doing this as the fare hike is the highest, every $10 spent will entitled you to 1 bonus point. The bonus points accumulated can be used to exchange for gift or enjoy rebate off future transport fare. Bonus point is the best way to attract Singaporeans to use more public transport, just ask NTUC and its linkpoint.
4) Last resort, dress like a pathetic poor student when making purchase maybe they will take sympathy on you and give you some discount. Its works! Just one time!

Ever visited those dirty public toilet caused by inconsiderate users? Shit on the floor, here, there, everywhere except into the hole. Not aiming properly when urinating in the cubicle and making a mess out of it (maybe never go through army training or maybe during BMT never get marksman)? I once came across an inconsiderate toilet user who aims his by-products all over the toilet cover (morons!). MediaCorp should include this kind of videos in between commercials break to train kids or even adults the proper way of using public toilet:

Was reading Ms Yilin blog and saw her ranting about how taxi fare have rocket into galaxy high situation, (a whopping $23.20 from Woodlands to Dover!) . It seem that price hike doesn't concern tax payer anymore, it concern even school student and majority of Singaporean even those who did not received the Progress Package (like me! nb). So far, the price hike only hit taxi, although the flag down rate only increase by $0.10 but every km that the taxi travelled is also increasing, which end up consumer like us have to pay for taxi fare which are of astronomical figure, just like asking for the moon! They claimed that increasing the taxi fare is to help taxi driver tide over the hard times in Singapore. Okie, if consumer are put off by the astronomical taxi fare and they choose to wake up early to take bus, MRT or even ride bicycle to work and school, do you think increasing taxi fare will help taxi driver to tide them over? And recently there were this policy on increasing the retirement age of taxi driver, i am puzzled by this policy simply because, why they can't let taxi driver retire early because they have already work for so many years of their life, just stop toturing them and let them enjoy their later years of their life. Also, increasing the retirement age of taxi driver endanger the life of passenger. Imagine a healthy looking taxi driver collasping halfway while ferrying his passenger, not that i have a foul mouth, but you never know.

If you are thinking about waking up early to catch a bus or MRT to work, i guess you have to start finding an alternative soon when the price of this 2 public transport start shooting like a rocket into the orbit soon although it will still be cheaper than taxi. But i hope that the increase of price in bus fare will also mean better services from bus driver, one thing bad about SBS bus driver is that they think that their company are the King of the Road already as they are covering majority of the bus route in Singapore. So majority of them have that arrogant look on their face, refusing to smile, scolding commuters for paying the wrong fare. I had once witness a bus driver scolding an old lady with her grandson for simply paying the wrong fare and accusing her of cheating the bus driver. This kind of attitude is simply outrageous.

Price of public transports hiking and owning a car in Singapore is like commiting a sin ( its a killer with all the tax and maintence of that 4 wheeled steel) , the parking fee in town area is coming up again, that's why i call it a sin to own a car in Singapore, every gantry u past by is a hole burnt in your pocket. Look like Singaporean best transport will be bicycle soon, 5 years down the road with the increase of public transport fare being intolerable, we may see Singaporean travelling down CBD wearing helmet and having their bicycle equipped with cash card reader. Don't forget to load your cashcard into the cashcard reader, if not Traffic Police may just summon your bicycle!

1) Wake up at 3am automatically to catch a World Cup match when there isn't any.
2) can't get to sleep till 5am and waking up at 8am the same morning to go work ( that's what i am suffering now, basket!)
3) fell down when touched by someone and cry and whine like a bitch.
4) try to DIVE over an obstacle instead of walking over it.
5) tell your superior or lecturer that you 'catch no ball' when you do not understand what he was trying to tell you.
6) keep calculating interm of ball, 1/2 ball, 1 ball, 1.5 balls.
7) log on to asianbookie and was very sad to find out that there was no more match involving countries being played there.
8) wear your favourite World Cup country jersey to work when you need to be in your suit.
9) finally realised you haven't been in touch with the world outside for a month, family, girlfriend, wife and friends being neglected. (okie now, where have all my friend been to lately?)
10) when someone said something nasty about you, you don't just walk away, you headbutt them to the ground.

Foreign talent.

I want to thank all the foreign talent who so called 'boast' the economic market of Singapore. Not only that, Singaporean have to start flipping the Recruits section of The Straits Times to find another new job. Infact, some of them could not find a full time job and end up taking up part time job and this indirectly is breaking my rice bowl (nb!) . The native Indian from India are expertise in the area of IT so they take up the majority of the IT sector leaving those who were diploma holder in IT to start reaching out for the Recruits to find jobs which are not IT based. How about those eng mo ( not ang mo, as those native speaker of english language pronouced it) ? Either they become the top managment in some MNC based here or they are being hired by MOE to be teach english because they are native speaker of that particular language. I am not saying that foreign talent is no good, but we gone through at least 13- 15 years of educations and yet we can't hold a job as good as them if not as stable as them? Those foreigner who are hired because they studied in Singapore, i got nothing against them because they at least gone through what we have gone through, but how about the native foreigner?

Okie, never mind proper jobs can't hold, we move on to doing vices. Even vices also dominated by foreign talent, massage parlour being managed by PDMM (陪读妈妈）from China. So Singaporean who want to go into vices, no room for you already. Maybe you can be the pimp for those prositute in Geylang.

Can't go into vices? Never mind, if you can play sports like me, Singapore need you. Damn, table tennis is played by Singaporean who come from China, badminton national players also from indo? Football national team got cameroonian players who are good runner by natural, i can't even pronouce their name. Moudourou Moise i do not even know how to pronouce his name properly, i got no problem with names like Salim, Rafi, Ali, Ahmad because they are locals. Goals 2010 i afraid will be a scene whereby foreign talent don the national colour.

However, on a lighter note, i still want to thanks the foreigner for clearing the unwanted in Singapore, a walk in town and you can find flat chested small eyes girls who they called 'chicks' hugging them. That's good and i thank you because that isn't Singaporean guys cup of tea i suppose. Thanks for clearing our 'scrap goods'. A classmate of mine who i cannot name for fear of my life once asked me if she was a good catch for the ang mo. I tried my best not to laugh and replied yes.
